Skills Canada Nova Scotia

Daikin Atlantic is a Platinum partner of Skills Canada Nova Scotia and is an annual participant in the Nova Scotia Skills Competition, a multi-trade competition for young Nova Scotians to be crowned best in province in their chosen field including HVAC-R. In addition to cheering on this year’s HVAC Skills Competition participants, our team was on-site during the Skills Canada Nova Scotia Career Showcases at NSCC to chat with attendees about what it’s like to work in the HVAC-R industry.

Avonview High School

We are proud supporters of skilled trades education in Atlantic Canada. With help from Presidential Ventilation, we showed Avonview High School students how to install a Daikin mini-split heat pump in a model motel.

Daikin Atlantic Warm-Up

Daikin Atlantic sponsored free public skate events across the Atlantic Canada region during the 2024-2025 season. Attendees got to spend quality time with their family and local community while also enjoying a complimentary cup of hot chocolate! 

Dartmouth Community Fridge

We teamed up with Daikin dealer Ready Refrigeration to supply the Dartmouth Community Fridge with a brand new fridge and stock it up with food for families to enjoy over the holidays.

Grace House

Daikin Atlantic recently donated a new heat pump to Grace House shelter in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Daikin Comfort Pro dealer Laagland’s Heat Pumps Sales & Service also supported the donation with the installation.

Grace House is a safe and accepting shelter that is kept, run, and maintained by women, for women. They provide a comforting and supportive environment that fosters and produces dignity and self-determination.

Ben Eion Snow School 

We sponsored Ben Eoin Snow School for the 2025 ski season, helping outfit their team with jackets to keep them warm on the slopes. The school offers ski and snowboard programs for all ages, helping Cape Bretoners build confidence and skills in the snow.
